Top Books – 2016

Ahhhh 🙂 It’s finally time! Way back I thought I should do a yearly recap of all the best books I read this year to share with all you lovely people. This year I set a goal for myself to read 30 BOOKS!!! I am proud to announce I read 32!!! What was your 2016 reading goal and how did you do?! Not that it particularly matters how many books we read, more importantly that we had a relaxing time doing it, right?

OK lets do this. I’m going to do this simply and share ALL the books that received a 4 or better rating by ME. The order doesn’t matter – it’s just the order that I read them in 🙂

It’s hard to believe I read THIS many wonderful books! Keep in mind these books were not necessarily written in 2016, I just happened to read them this year. NOW what will I read in 2017?! One book I know I want to read is Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty. I have my copy waiting for me at my public library…I’m about to go pick it up!✌

2016 was a GOOD year for me personally – I went back to school and continued to progress my relationship with my partner. I’ve learned a lot about myself and I even started my first vegetable garden which I’m sure some of you have read about in my prior posts.

Now I want to hear from YOU 🙂 What books did you LOVE or DISLIKE in 2016? Have you read any of my TOP books? I can’t wait to hear about it!!! What should I read in 2017?! I must THANK YOU ALL for being dedicated readers and friends to my blog, I really do love reading your posts and responding to comments😍. It’s the best fun. OH and if you aren’t my friend on Goodreads, BE MY PAL! I also need to thank Netgalley for providing me with so many lovely books this year. TO EVERYONE: HAPPY 2017 – LET’S READ LOTS, GROW VEGGIES AND EAT TONNES OF YUMMY FOOD ❤📚🌱🍅🍷

  1. Not sure if you have read “Think of a number”, it is so catchy. I’m actually re-reading it (I’ve been waiting for so long to do it to forget about the main details to connect the dots and it worked). If you are also looking for inspiration, and a different subject, my favourite book of all times is “The shadow of the wind” from Carlos Ruiz-Safon.
